Whisky Tasting
No visit to Scotland would be complete without visiting a distillery, and perhaps, sampling the local product. Laudale is close to one of the newest and one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland.
The Ardnamurchan Distillery located on the shores of Loch Sunart opened in 2014 to begin production of world- class single malts. Producing 2 signature styles of whiskey, 1 ‘peated’ and 1 ‘unpeated’, matured in oak ex- sherry and American oak ex-bourbon casks until its ready to be drunk! From one of Scotland’s newest distilleries, a short hop will take you Mull and one of the oldest commercial distilleries. The Tobermory Distillery has been in operation since 1798, producing 2 beautiful whiskies the fruity, unpeated ‘Tobermory’ and the smoky ‘Ledaig’.
